Details

Hi guys,

I'm selling my Warwick corvette double buck. It's currently running a " Dark Lord" set up (F# tuning) with a custom nut. I'd be more than willing to have it reset with the original nut in standard tuning if you'd prefer. I'll also include the Warwick gig bag and original manual/tools. The price includes shipping to the lower 48. If you're interested and outside of the lower 48 I'll work with you to figure out a shipping method and the cost. Also, if you are in New Jersey we can work out a local pickup.

Price is $750 OBO

Here are a couple pictures of the bass. I'll upload more shortly.

did you have to crank down the truss rod to compensate for the much bigger than normal strings?

I had the bass professionally setup for these strings so I'm not 100 percent certain. But, if I had to guess I'd say no. The strings are quite a bit larger but the tuning is nearly an octave lower. From playing it, I'd say the amount of tension is a bit less than the stock setup.

It look like an ovangkol neck and swamp ash body to me. I would also say it looks German made to me.

This ones a beauty and priced right. My local store has a brand new one hanging in the shop for ~$2600!! :woot:

Well, since there's no response from dan-says, I'll have to assume he's no longer selling it or has already sold it which is a shame because I was interested.

What are the neck and body woods? It's a German made Warwick?

Hey there, its still available. :) Been a busy few days over here. Here's the I.D. sheet with all the info about the bass. Here's some photos of the gig bag and user kit as well.

The bass seems pretty mint. Like it's not warn at all. I am interested, but I'm gonna have to scrounge up some cash first or wait for my tax refund which should hopefully be here in the next week or so. If I do end up buying it, I'll definitely want it set back to standard.
