Hey all. Up for grabs today is my one-of-a-kind, white/ebony Spector NS2-JA. Build by the Czech shop, it was not part of the white/black/natural run of NS2-JA Reissues (usually referred to a JARs). The board is ebony without any inlays, which looks really clean against the white. My guess is that it was a one-off that they did as a prototype or employee build. Badass bridge, Schaller chrome tuners and straplocks, EMG BTS preamp (modded with a wiring harness to run at 18v).
Interestingly, it wasn't stamped with an NB serial number on the back of the headstock like the JARs from 2008. Rather, it was hand-written on the inside of the pre-amp cover. (It's the same handwriting as other parts that I've gotten directly from PJ Rubal at Spector so I know it's 100% legit.)
Some other notes:
--Weight is a svelte 8lbs, 6oz.
--The 18v mod is something is 100% reversible. It's just a $5 wiring harness that I got from eBay. It clips in and unclips if you want to go back to 9v.
--Includes in a nice padded Spector gig bag.
--I will ship overseas for the actual postage it takes to get it there safely. (Also, for international shipping, I am willing to take the neck off to reduce the physical footprint of the box.)
--Finally, about the neck profile. It's very comfortable, not too thin, not too chunky. I've attached a neck measurement worksheet to this post so you can get an idea of the thickness and overall width of the neck. The thickness measurements are between the back of the neck and the E string. Obviously, that may vary at least a little bit, depending on what gauge strings you have on there. But you get the idea. Also, I couldn't fit the calipers on the high upper frets without scratching up the body (they're marked with Xs on the diagram).
