This is a laminate, 3/4 scale upright bass.with a rosewood fingerboard, and
steel strings.
It's in great shape and has never needed major repair. It has the sorts of scratches, scars and chipping around the edges that you'd typically expect to find on an instrument of this vintage. Really, that only adds mojo.
The action is currently set up for rockabilly or bluegrass styles, but I can lower it to suit your needs if arco or jazz is more your thing.
The biggest flaw is merely cosmetic: a pair of discolored patches just above the bridge where, at some point, some numbnuts tried to glue the bridge on --in the wrong location. I had trouble getting a good picture of them. But they're still there.
The asking price is 950.
