at that price, it's probably just a made in China special.... I'm sure you can find a dozen made in the same factory on Alibaba.... why is it so special to get it from Germany?

That's a thought. I would need a bass with a blank headstock. I'm really looking for the Marquis name on a cheap bass. Have a line on one on eBay now
