Hi, Here's an awesome American Made Jazz style Bass.
DSC07204_zpsd9881f7b.jpg

Sunburst Finish
Thick, Rich looking Rosewood Fretboard.
Schaller Tuners.
This Bass cost $1800 in the 1990's.
I'm asking for $650 O.B.O. I know there's other Hamer Basses with higher Prices, but mine has Passive Pickups, so, I'll charge less.

"Select" jazz set pickups. ( EMG's Passive Offerings.)

Designer's note:
The Hamer 2 Tek Cruise Bass is traditionally packaged "J" bass with an important and innovative twist. The 2 Tek Cruise, of course, features the new 2 Tek bridge, which is mounted through the body, not just on it. The 2 Tek Cruise offers amazing tone, more volume, better clarity and unheard of sustain. It features individual "tonal fingers" a mounting block and a back mounted "resonator plate". The isolated tonal fingers prevent sympathetic vibration while enhancing overall sustain and resonance through the resonator plate and into the bass's two-piece alder body. The slim, beautiful bolt-on maple neck boasts a highly playable rosewood fingerboard.

Make no mistake, folks, This is a very high Quality American Made Bass!

I had one, bought on close out 15 or so years ago and I never should have got rid of it. Ugh! Well built and had a sweet tone!

This Bass was made in 1995.
I weighed it, it weighs 10 lbs even. I suppose the 2TEC Bridge makes it weigh a bit more...but the weight is in the Back, so you don't feel it as much. The 2TEC bridge adds a LOT of sustain! It sustains just about as good as my old Aluminum-necked Kramer Bass, but it's WAY lighter, and it's not neck-heavy like the Kramer. Each string is on it's own "finger", making for clearer tones with no cross-talk.
