I absolutely love this pre-amp, but I love the first gen 201 just a little bit more and I just got one here on TB so this 201s has got to go. Of course, no issues, works great, sounds amazing. Has newer groove tubes in it $450 shipped
IMO, I find the 201 to be a little warmer, rounder.
The 201s does have some nice added features: mute button and more control over efx loops send and return and regulated power supply making it a bit quicker.
Either way, we now have this great pre amp up for sale
