Yeah, the M2000 is one of my favorite heads, and I'd likely buy it, but I'm in Seattle :-(

I love Mesa stuff. I don't need gear but I'm curious. Time to research.

These amps don't come up for sale very often because the owners rarely want to get rid of them. The Mesa M2000 arguably has the most diverse tone palate of any bass amp in existence, and for "knob tweakers" like me, these things are a wet dream. IMO, best live gig head unit, ever.

True.. I think I'm gonna keep this bad boy around. It may be overkill for my current blues band, but I'm sure I'll find myself in another rock band sooner or later, and I know I will regret selling it... They don't make these any more and there's nothing available on the market today that will do what this amp does (not to mention anywhere near the price range of what I am asking for this one). So yeah, it's staying here. Thanks for helping me see "the light" hbarcat.
