As part of divorce settlement I'm selling off some of my basses. We have here a somewhat unusual older Sadowsky PJ 5 in that the jazz pup is tighter to the bridge like when people originally modded their p basses. Ash body, maple neck. It came with Barts but I changed the P pup to a Delano (which I think sounds better) but will include the original. The color is also a little different. It looks black from afar but is actually a pearlescent black/ brown. Its in really good shape for its age with some honest fingerboard wear and one ding near the input jack that doesn't go through the paint. Also a smaller one on the lower bout. Other than that just the usual swirls on the back but nothing that breaks throughout the color. The bass is on the lighter side and I will weigh it later. At some point the stacked knobs were replaced.
Soundwise this bass is on the grindy snarly side so if you are looking for a mellow bass I would move on. Action is low. Paypal OK
