Up for sale is my 1989 Kubicki Ex-Factor bass. This bass is in MINT condition, with only one small "pinhead" chip in the lower curve (see pic). Otherwise, there isn't another ding or scratch on this bass! I haven't seen one in this condition in a LONG time - especially for a 26 year old instrument! I'm not the original owner, but I don't think he/she ever played it. There is almost no fret wear. Now for the specifics: This bass has a date of 06/89 and a SN of 1443. From what I can gather, this was likely a "transition" bass, as there is no FCS logo and it does have the 18v preamp with 6-position switch. The finish is a light metallic black/charcoal (difficult to show in pics). Everything works perfectly on this bass. The preamp is noise-free. The truss rod doesn't appear to ever have been messed with and operates smoothly. The neck is straight (of course, it's a Kubicki) and the action is low. I currently have it strung with DR Nickel Sunbeams (45-105) and am including another brand new set. Also included is the original HSC, also in really good condition. One latch is a bit sticky but all close just fine. I'm asking $1800, shipped to the CONUS. I am not willing to ship this bass internationally. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. Thanks!
