Details

I am the second owner of this great baby bass. If you know Steve Azola then you know the quality of his instruments.
If not than you owe it to yourself to do some reading up on Steve and his wife.
I have had this bass for a few years now. Played at church maybe 15 times. Other than that is sits in its padded case (not pictured, but included) at my home in Simi Valley CA.
This is bass number ABB1040, String scale is 41.5 " so its a true 3/4 size acoustic instrument. Duel piezoelectric pickups locted in the slots of the bridge. Adjustable neck.
The bass is mint and comes with the original stand and padded gig bag in mint shape. Also included are a new set of Thomastik Spirocore
"Kunstler-Seilsaiten" strings and the original paperwork.
I will help deliver this bass within a 100 mile radius of my home.

As for trades....
Looking for a 5 or 6 string hi end bass.
Must be 34" scale and 19mm spacing if 5 string.
I will consider 18mm if its a 6 with a wide nut.

Is it a bolt on neck that is detachable? Can you post a pic of the back of neck joint (neck heal)?

There's a height adjustment system in there so for the neck to come off you'd have to push the neck forward (effectively lowering the action) until the neck disengaged. To restore reverse the process and use a metal ruler calibrated in 32nds to reset it. Probably about the same time it would take to do any removable neck bass like a Chadwick or something. I've had a couple of Azolas and I don't think I ever took the neck off my Bugbass but I did at least twice on the Deco. It's a good system.

Hi
yes you can take the neck off but I think the bass would have to be set up after doing so.

When you get a chance can you post a pic of the back of the neck joint?
