Details

This preamp is in awesome condition and was paired up with a set of EMG P pick ups from a studio in Nashville that I recently purchased and pulled .
It is set up Vol-sweepable Mid-Bass/Treble stack
There are also 2 tiny dip switches that change change frequency range. If I am wrong someone please correct me because there is very little out there regarding this older preamp.
If I was positive that this could be used with passive pickups I would not be selling so if anyone knows that please come forward.

I think this is the BQC.

The "BQ" signifies the 3 band preamp with the mid sweep.
There was the BQC, with concentric bass and treble.
There was also the BQS with separate bass and treble.
They likely used the same board for both, which was likely the BQ-A board. The only difference was the pot configuration.

That said, the BQC (or BQS) preamps are amazingly good preamps for the money. I used to have them in some Modulus basses and they were the bomb. Sweepable midrange is so good, it's like cheating.
This is a great deal, halegroove is a great dude, buy this preamp!

Thanks for the plug bro. There aren't too many quality preamps out there that you can buy for under $100. It's good to know this is one of them.

No prob! It works as 9v, too.
And you can easily set it up
to work with 2 pickups.
