I have not used flatwound strings in over 30 years, and after reading all of the glowing reports about a P-Bass w/flats, I decided to try a set. I installed this set on one of my P-basses, and used them for one practice session, and 1 1/4 gigs. I have found that they just do not work for me - the sound just does not work for me onstage.
