The Magnum's a great bass, and this one looks like it's in great shape - better than a lot of those I've seen on sale. They look great in sunburst. Many for sale don't still have the rubber mute at all, which can do double-duty as both a traditional mute and, when lowered a little, something to add a fretless or sitar-like effect. And the necks on these are great - so solid feeling, and somewhere between a Jazz and Precision in overall feel.

One advantage for potential buyers to note is that this is the only Magnum model with a stereo output - you can't get that with any other Magnum. The active Magnum II is just mono, as are the simplified II and IV. The stereo out on this model works great for tweaking the sound of each pickup, and another bonus is that the split stereo sound is actually quite different from the mono sound, more open maybe. When I first tried it out on my Magnum, I was quite pleased - I already liked its distinctive tone in mono, but the stereo split gives it a whole extra realm of sound possibilities. For my money, this makes the Magnum I the best of the bunch.

Good luck with the sale, these basses are very cool!

Saturday night bump for a wonderful bass. Hate to see it go, but it is not getting the attention from me it deserves.

Yes, indeed. This is a very cool and very bizarre bass. What can I do to make this yours?

You often hear ppl complain about their weight. But at 9.3#, it's over 2# lighter than my 11.5# Peavey T-45. I'm just saying this to put things in perspective. These are excellent basses.

Hopefully this sells before I convince myself into tax evasion. Otherwise... wow.

Bump for the hotness...

I appreciate all the positive comments. Please don't make me reconsider putting it up for sale.

There has been more than a bit of interest, but no takers yet.

I wonder, how do you getvthe stereo out? 2 cables and 2 amps? Ir using a Y cable either into both outputs and into one amp, or the other way around? JUST the stereo out and 2 amps? Looking into buying one but the answer to this still eludes me
