This is a most amazing Ric. Dec 73 4001 in jetglo. This is a player for sure. Of the 125 Rics I have owned, this one ranks in the top ten for playability and TONE. A previous owner did some shielding work to it and all I can say is the bass is the quietest Ric I have ever owned. On the back there is a custom made plastic plate which holds a sheet of copper against the body. Since it is held in with four screws it can be removed easily. This is the one that beats many of the others I have had. The neck and truss rods are in good working order and I have not had to adjust the neck regardless of string gauge. The Grover tuners do not fall apart like most of them do. The only reason for the listing is to be able to get back another bass that I should not have let go. 1650 shipped. No case but I will find one to ship in.
