I have decided to put my Birdsong Corto 2 up for sale, at only $1500! New ones cost $2100 and would require a wait period for the build. I have a couple of Birdsong basses and this one is not getting as much attention as it used to. I still play it from time to time, but I think it is ready to fly the nest and find a new owner. Overall it is in great shape, with a little play wear around the front pickup (see photo) being the only real sign of use. I would be paying for the shipping (USA only) and it would ship in the original hard shell case and packaging from Birdsong, which if you are not familiar with is a lot of bubble wrap and such to keep it safe when shipping.
The bass has a mahogany body and matching headstock, a maple neck, and a rosewood fretboard. Other than that it is a standard Corto 2 and more info can be found at Birdsong Basses - professional short scale bass models
