Details

First, I reserve the right to pull this off the market and I may post this locally as well.
What I have is a custom order BN5, recently set up with some Dunlop Stings 45-125 and is in very very clean condition. I don't have the F-bass gig bag for it but will include a roadrunner gig bag as it's all I have for this particular bass. Take a look and you will notice the F-Bass upgrades such as the upgraded finish, one piece ash body (9.5 lbs), upgraded hipshot "A" style bridge, hipshot ultralight tuners, slightly larger fretwire AND notice the MOP block inlays. Also worthy of mention is a 5-bolt neck pattern (factory upgrade) for added stability. Selling price is $2800. I have not played this much as I am mostly using my VF5's. Trades will be considered but they are specific:

F-Bass VF5 (newer neck block construction). I would really love the Sunburst PJ5 that was sold on Luthiers Access Group.
F-bass VF4 (newer neck block construction) ( I would love the Gold one that was at Bass and Beyond)
F-bass BN5 NYC model (there is a gold one and a silver one I have seen around tb)
F-bass/GFC L5 (there is a natural one that has been around on tb a few times)

Fender adam clayton model precision gold sparkle

Fender adam clayton jazz sherwood green plus cash to me

In will also entertain certain Suhr classic jazz basses (passive preferred but depends on finish). There is a Sparkle Gold one and a Shoreline Gold one I am looking for in particular.

Thanks for reading all this, I know it's a lot. :)

more pics upon requests for those who are serious. Also, forgot to mention but obviously BLACK Hipshot hardware and hardly any fretware at all no neck dings or wear. Also, want to add a Callowhill Junk 5 to my trade list as well as a Nordy VJ5 but depends on the finish (I like 3-4 knob configuration on the Nordy's (no smiley face control layouts) - cash to me is ok to complete the deal if it is less value than my F-bass.

a few more pics. Would really like the right VF5 or VF4 but I could be talked into Nordy's or Certain Suhr basses plus some cash to me.

some good trade offers and trade/cash deals to consider but bump for now. I'm still hoping for a VF5, VF4, Fender Adam Clayton or an F-bass BN5 NYC.

The last two digits of the s/n are 04 so I believe 2004 but it looks mint compared to my 2002. Does your bass have the newer heel block and does it have dots on the fingerboard?

I'm gonna do a tentative bump for now but trades or trade/cash to me deals are cool. F-basses, nordy's, suhr's (no stainless steel frets!), callowhill junks, m-basses possibly. Adam clayton fender jazz plus cash to me would be cool. Usa lakland dj would be awesome!

possible trade (good one) in the works but last bump to see if any other VF's (4 or 5 strings) or Nordy VJ's (4 or 5 strings), USA Lakland DJ4's come up. If I keep it, no problem with me at all or the pending trade is pretty sweet also. Last bump. Sell outright for $2800 shipped Conus only because then I could buy something I have my eye on. Thanks for reading.

F's are some of the best basses out there. I really can't say enough about them. Owned one years ago and would own one again anytime. They play great, sounds great, and they make the best active preamp in the business (and I don't care for active pres). This one's a beauty!

F basses are indeed incredible. I've owned a handful and they're all righteous in their own way. Bump for Thumby!

As much as I want this bass, I am probably going to have to go a different route. I've got a custom inbound and need a good P bass, so my VF5 will likely get sold in order to help fund both. GLWTS though, this is a fantastic example of a BN5. IME the one piece body makes a big and positive difference to the F bass formula

I really want a VF4 or another VF5. I will entertain a Nordy VJ4 or Lakland USA DJ4. Please let me know if you have one of these you are willing to trade. Thanks!

I have two very very interesting trade offers. Just bumping a final time to see if any other f-bass vf4 or vf5's are out there or any other Nordy's. Hopefully a CONUS deal but both trade offers I have are awesome.
