The one pictured on top weighs in at 47lbs and the one pictured on bottom at 44lbs. Italian Poplar is by far my favorite cab material!!!!

I've edited the original post to show the jack plates of each in the way they're oriented in the stack.

Their lightness and amazing tone has always been perfect. The gig I'm playing these days is very volume demanding and I didn't want to drive these cabs hard so I'm making a sacrifice and moving them.

I use one of these for my backline. I can't imagine anyone having difficulty keeping up with the volume demands. Mine is less than 50 lbs and rides full-time in the back of my vehicle.

A grand for both shipped? Best deal going.

I don't mean to imply that they aren't loud; they very much are. I just don't want push limits at all on them. Just because you have a Ferarri, doesn't mean you red line it.

I do have some heavy interest in one. It won't hurt my feelings if these are split.

Strange: mine has the Epifani faceplate but it does not include the "UL Series" reference. Then again, it has an earlier S/N.

It seems that there have been a couple of variations within the UL2 line. I suppose the grill isn't removed from that. I actually like the logo depicting the particular line that it is so that there is some immediate separation from the different series.

If you wire in parallel, yes. That is the typical way. You could do series and arrive at a final impedance of 10.6 if you so chose.

I've used my Walkabout at this load for quite some time with no issues. Some amps may differ.

Yeah, these bad boys will really shine if you can assign a dedicated power amp channel to each. They're rated at ~700 watts and a modestly powered amp, like a DriveCore 1500, will push 400+ watts per enclosure or 800 watts into what is essentially a 6 X 10 enclosure. Pretty impressive.
