I have a 2007 Spector NS52H up for grabs. Here are the specs:
- #281 made 4/23/07 New York
- 35" Scale
- just shy of 17mm string spacing
- 24 frets with abalone inlays
- Hipshot Ultralite tuners
- lam maple neck
- Figured Maple Top Emerald Green
- Mahogany Body
- Pau Ferro fret board
- Active EMG dual coil soaps
- Aguilar OBP3 preamp
- Independent volume knob for each pickup push/pull selector
- 3 band EQ boost/cut 2 frequency push/pull mid and stacked hi/low
- straplock dual design
- Hipshot A
- fairly new strings
- includes FHSC as well as a Spector gig bag......both in 9/10 condition.
- strings are fairly fresh and I have no idea what they are
I traded for this bass a few weeks ago from a fellow TBer. It is my first bass with EMG's. I really like this bass and it plays ridiculous fast and sounds excellent. The only issue is that the EMG's require me to completely rethink my pedals and effects as they do not play anything similar to Barts......which I have used until now. I would keep this Spector anyway if I could afford to, but I just grabbed a Roscoe and need the funds. And so it goes.....
Overall, this bass is in great shape. There are light signs of wear as it has been played and loved. The only major flaw is a crack in the clear coat around the control knobs. It can be seen in the photos. I received the bass with this finish crack and was told that it had been looked over by a reputable luthier and deemed cosmetic only. Regardless, this bass is a player in excellent shape. I tried to take pics of the other few marks on the bass, but overall, she is still a beaut.
Asking $1475 shipped CONUS
Check or MO preferred, but I can do PP if necessary.
I will ship FedEx using appropriate materials and packaging methods.
A commercial/business address is always preferred if available.
