I am posting this beauty up in hopes of finding her a new home, where there isn't a newly acquired T-20 taking up all the play time...

Straight from the Matsumoku plant, I give you....the X-77! No it isnt a japanese robot...it is probably the second best bass I have ever been blessed to hold. It has an amazing neck, thick with a thick finish...feels just like my 51 RI CIJ Fender...and the headstock may not be for most people, but I think it looks like a cooler starcaster headstock. I swapped the original dimarzios for SPB-1s, but will include the originals because everything on this is stock. I dont know the exact date but its from the 80s. Aged white finish with a great rosewood board. Gibson-esque bridge that functions great and actually is semi routed down into the body. I love this thing but like I said before, I recently scored on a T-20 near mint...and I wont put it down.

It is heavy, but will get a definite weight soon. great condition with one minor nick on the back.

Not really looking for trades but will entertain items of similar value, always.

350 shipped, with neck removed from body

dude-I am in shock...
its a 1984.
I have never seen another one exactly like mine in 30 years; I thought I had the only one. it was my first bass and I bought it new. I heavily modified it over the years. still an excellent bass-top drawer quality.
you are a fool to sell it ;)

haha, maybe theyre the only 2 in existence then!

I will definitely miss this when it is gone because the neck, with that brass nut is so fantastic...but i am infatuated with this Peavey and the story behind it makes me never wanna put it down...so I will pass this monster to the next lucky soul

Love the mods to yours haha!
