I am putting this up with reservations. I'm not at all sure I want to get rid of this guitar, but I know I'm scared to play it outside of the house and it reminds me of the ex. It's never been out of the house and only played a handful of times. It's mostly been the "achievement" guitar. The one I always wanted when I first started playing type of thing. There is one tiny flaw in the finish on the treble side of the back that I tried to capture in the pictures. I'm pretty sure It's not a ding, it's appears under/in the clear coat. I have been the only owner of this guitar, purchased brand new. I'm sure if I contacted PRS they would take care of the flaw, but to me it wasn't bad enough that it was worth all of the hassle. It was there when I got it new, so I don't know.
Anyway if you know anything about PRS then you already know the quality and magnificence of these guitars. The 513 is by far the most versatile of the guitars. 5 way switch with 13 possible combinations (15 if you mod it) There is a 3way blade switch that changes the "humbuckers" to single coils, vintage output humbuckers, modern output humbuckers. The neck profile is 'pattern' which is in-between pattern thin and pattern regular (formerly wide thin, wide fat). I believe the color was called black teal. The bottom two pictures do it the most justice in terms of color.
The case that it came with isn't the original. Apparently they sold a 25th anniversary model and the guy didn't want the white case so he ended up with mine. I actually really really dug the white case, so to me that was a bonus!
As far as trade offers, I'm probably not looking for guitars as much as bass stuff. But the list of ideas of things I may be interested in is
PRS Grainger bass (not the private stock of course)
Mayones
maybe Ken Smith, Sadowsky, MTD although I'm still wary of getting too high end on basses since my Roscoe took a long time to move.
I'll entertain guitar trades, but that'll be tougher.
Trading up or down plus cash is most likely doable.
Please PM or respond with questions.
