This is an older set of Alembic PJ pickups I've had in my 70s Ibanez for awhile. They sound phenomenal, but I can never bring myself to use active electronics live so it's been solely a home/studio bass for my housemates recording projects (and I fear relying on a tone I can't recreate easily with another bass!). These things can really make a P bass sound like nearly anything with a small flick of the Filter control.
Comes with the P and J pickups the two Volume controls and the Filter preamp, as well as the Output jack and battery clip pictured!
Some wires have been spliced over the years, but everything still works and sounds great. The signal/noise ratio is a bit high if you turn the volumes down, but if you leave at least one up it is very quiet for the huge gain on tap. The pots are a bit loose and quite easy to turn either by nature or because of age, so I added little cardboard rings to add some friction when I had them installed (the Filter pot has a lot of effect in a small turn, so I didn't want to accidentally bump it while recording!).
Not looking for trades as I've got my eyes on a bass locally or I'd be holding onto these, but always interested in old Ibanez/Greco/etc Jazz basses!
