SOLD!
I need to pay off a new bass that was just built for me, so I'm selling this Sadowsky UV70-5. The serial number on it is M4205, built in 2010. I've had it since 2012. In very good condition - it's been played, but no big chips or scratches. The weight is at 9.3 lbs according to my digital bathroom scale. It's an alder/morado model, and it has the Sadowsky HC's installed. When I first got this bass I planned on swapping the pickups for the Sadowsky singles coils because I had always preferred jazz basses with singles, but the HC's in this bass are so versatile that once I heard it I never wanted to mess with it. Here's a few clips showing off the tone in different environments:
Playing jazz/funk/fusion recorded live in the studio with my jazz quartet:
Playing gospel at my church's Christmas concert, this is the audio feed from the board:
Playing a solo bass style R&B cover, recorded straight to my computer:
Selling for $1900 shipped to the lower 48. Comes with the original Sadowsky Zero-G style case.
