Details

2003 USA P bass in good condition. It has a couple of marks (pictured) plus some light surface scratches from jeans rivets in back of the body. The biggest ding is on the neck near the 3rd fret. I can feel it but I when I play I never notice it. I think my thumb just doesn't hit that spot.

The bass plays well and sounds great. The neck is straight. Truss rod worked fine when I did the setup a couple of months ago (I took it in trade).

The frets show only light wear.

The SN may appear to be partially missing but that is just because I edited it out. It is all there.

Yes, it has the S-1 switch.

It comes with an apparently non-original SKB case. The case is in fair condition. It has a number of scuff marks on the outside but the inside is fine and the latches and handle operate with no issues.

Was $740. Now lowered to $700. I pay PayPal fees and I pay shipping.

I has 3 colors (black, red, yellow). It is more subtle in person than in the pics.

To be clear: Is this a Fender American Standard Precision or a Fender USA Precision? Bump.

Well, I may have the terminology wrong. It is a MIA Fender Standard precision. In 2003 were they called USA or American? I don't know and don't know if there is a difference ...

Oh, and BUMP.

If it's 2003 with S1, it should be an American Series bass. Which was the predecessor to the American Standard.

That's all semantics though. What's important is it's not a Highway 1 or Highway One.
