I have a used, yet in great condition for a 20+ year old bass. It has a small thumb dent near the neck pup and a small chip near the back plate both are not that noticeable.
When I got my 5 string, I was talked to someone at the Heritage factory trying to learn about it. I was told there were 50 tops basses ever made by Heritage, of which most were 4 string. (Ten 5 strings at the most.) Of the 4 strings, they had two body styles, the HB with neck through build and a sort of Alembic styling and another that was sort of P style with PJ pickups. EMG pickups and electronics were stock on all, I believe. I don't know the numbers between the HB like the one for sale here, and the P style body, but I have personally seen more of the P style bodies myself. Other then the two HB's that I have, and the one that used to be on the Heritage web page, I have only seen one other, so that makes this bass quite rare. Think of an Alembic body, a vintage EB3L neck and EMG pickups and you have a really nice combination.
A question for the seller, for clarification, is the small switch a pickup three way pickup selector or a two way EMG scoop/boost circuit? (All Heritage basses I have seen have had the switch, but I have seen and read about them both having the EMG boost, and just having a pickup selector.)
