This is essentially a stripped Indonesian Squire Jazz 4 string that would be useful for a project. I have used it only as an "around the house" bass after buying it new a couple years back. In good condition. Neck is reasonably straight, but could use a set-up I would imagine (assuming you're particular about action like myself). I think this model is made of Basswood, but not certain. Under the pickguard, there is a small routing for a Warmoth neck to access the truss rod.
NOTE: It does need a neck plate w/screws, as well as screws for the pickguard. (I have a couple in there to hold it in place, but a little too small.)
