Details

Here's a ~30 year old Fender Precision bass, stock except for Dunlop strap locks. (I'll include "Fender-ish" strap buttons, 'tho they're likely not the originals, just outta my parts drawer.) The bass has been played over the years, but is still in very solid condition. It has sustained several cosmetic dings, most notably on the body adjacent to the tone knob, on the bottom of the bass and at the tip of the front of the headstock. Still, it looks nice: a player's bass. Or a Nash light relic.

There is one ding/impression on the back of the neck between the 10th and 11th fret that crosses the skunk stripe, about 1/4" long. Otherwise neck is nice. Truss rod works fine, tuners work fine. Bass is strung with LaBella flats, light or medium gauge, I can't remember.

The electronics function as they should, the bass sounds solid; classic "thudstick." I have another E Series P bass that I swapped in a Fralin pickup. I would recommend that mod to anyone. To my ear, it is the ultimate vintage P sound.

I would prefer to remove the neck for shipping, as no case or gig bag come with the bass. I've had 100% good luck shipping bolt-on basses w/ neck removed. It removes a lot of the anxiety, to me.

The ONLY trade I'm interested in is an Aguilar Tonehammer 500 amp. I DO NOT need any more basses. Basses moving out of the house is the prime directive behind me letting this bass go. That and, I have another one.

Prefer continental US and Canada sale/trade.

Please ask any questions. I can send more photos if you're seriously interested. Obviously, I'm not a good photographer.

Thanks for looking.

How much do you think shipping to California would be? And do you take paypal?

Actually not bad photos at all. Very well done and a sweet looking P. If I wasn't like you trying to reduce the herd I would be on this one. I'm assuming that it is fairly light weight like my E-series Jazz.
