Details

This is the John Suhr version with 3 band eq and large pole piece pickups. Just a shade under 9 lbs. and all original w Schaller straploks. Fender hard shell case. Just a beautiful trans blue finish, in 9/10 condition. Plenty of meat on the frets. Slaps well and speaks incredibly in the upper register.

These series of Fender American Deluxe are relatively rare and the Suhr preamp and single pole pickups are astonishing.
IMHO the BEST sounding stock preamp ever in a Fender, and John Suhr is a Master of Electronics.

I have the 5 string version of yours, save Rosewood Board (never saw any 5's yet with Maple boards ??)

These basses kick and the preamp is equal to any of the high end preamps out there----- and better than most (for my taste anyways :)

My exact bass (however, Ive never seen a maple neck, looks nice)... glad to see it so well regarded. I can attest that it plays and sounds great!
