Neck is maple and ebony - both beautiful. The body??? Super tight grain . . . I don't know but it looks good and the acoustic sound is sweet.
There is not one bass in this price range in the for sale forum that is even close. Whoever gets this will be shocked at the playability, neck, seasoned woods and construction. Look at Tom's current work to give you an idea of what this instrument is like.
Yeah, the boutique craftsmanship and aged woods. I have owned the best vintage Fender basses and this Anderson has that same feel but who would guess? Seeking out the real players and having them at 1/5 the coast is nice. The Delap I owned was in the same league.
