This is a cool bass, In very good condition! The nicks and scratches are minor for a bass this age.
It's a 'Leo era', meaning it was built while Leo Fender was still alive.
I bought it, it with the intention of just 'collecting' it.
It is all original as far as I know, with the exception of one tuner screw.
It must have been owned by a severe smoker, because it reeked when I got it, and needed cleaning and setting up.
I took it to a repair guy, and he dismantled it, and cleaned it, filed the fret ends, and took pictures in the process.
It has the very rare 'radio knobs'.
As you can see, the frets show very little wear.
The truss rod, the tuners, the bridge screws, all function as they should, there are no buzzes physically, or electronically.
It has the metal 'crinkle finish' pickguard, as well as the 'crinkle finish' on the bridge.
The case is included. I assume it is a Musicians Friend case.
According to the bathroom scale, it weighs 9.4 lbs. It has an 11/16" nut.
