For sale 1978 Fender Antigua P Bass

This is a rare prize, one of the cleanest Antigua P basses I've seen. Usually the pickguard starts peeling, this one is darn good. It has an old DiMarzio model P in it, no... I don't have the original pickup, I bought it this way. I did try a more "period correct" pickup in it, but this bass sounds best with the DiM IMO. Currently strung with D'Addario Chromes. It comes with a period correct Fender hardshell, but it's not in great shape, and I do have the bridge cover. The neck has some nice subtle quilting, you can see it in the headstock photo. The neck is one of those BIG 70's necks, like a Steve Harris signature model. Anyway... I have 7 P Basses now, and this one is a little on the heavy side for me (estimate it around 10lbs), so it doesn't leave the house much. Take it way for 2K! Buyer pays shipping.
