Up for sale is my Eminence 4 string removable neck electric upright bass. The bass sounds great, and is in great shape with a few minor cosmetic blemishes. I bought it new in '02. It has the original Gage pickup on it. The neck and fingerboard are true with no buzzes, etc. I don't have the little waist extension - I found it to be more annoying than useful and have misplaced it.
I'm selling it because I have two travel basses - I like 'em both but I'm not doing much traveling anymore. I'm located in New Jersey roughly midway between NYC and Philadelphia. I'd prefer a local sale to avoid shipping it, and to allow for a buyer to play the bass before buying it. Asking price is $2400.
Included in the sale are the 2-piece soft case and hard Golf Guard case that came with it. The hard case works great for checking it on the airlines, and not once was I asked to sign a damage waiver for a musical instrument - they always assumed that I was carrying golf clubs! Never had any damage though.
