This bass is gorgeous! I had serious GAS for a Stingray 5 and when I saw this bass I could not help myself. This bass is minty. It did not leave my house except to show a few friends--no gigs. I am the second owner and when I got it it still had the plastic and bar codes on it. I also have a white pick guard that I will include in the sale.
I wanted to be able to get into a 5 string, but it was just not meant to be :/
I have looked at the grain on this bass over and over again and I cannot find a seam, so it looks like a one piece to me. If you can find the seam, you have better eyes than me!
Set up with low-mid action, it is super responsive and has the complete Stingray 5 sound you've been looking for. I believe it is a 2013, so it has the MM anilco humbucker.
It is fretted. I accidentally clicked the fretless option when I created the post and can't seem to uncheck it. I apologize for that.
Bathroom scale says 9.8lbs (light for a 5er!)
