It features a overdrive channel and spring reverb instead of the bi-amp capability found on the PB-1. Other than that the circuitry is the same as the PB-1. It also has the same parametric EQ section found on the PB-1. This enables you to dial in any tone from a fat round full Ampeg tone to an aggressive sounding modern slap setting.
