Here's a quick demo at the settings in the pic above, low gain on internal trim (goes - clean, drive on, boost on, boost switched direction into drive):

I think it holds it quite well. You can get an idea in the clip above. It's at the settings in the pic above, and fully clockwise on the Body knob is where you get the most low end (and also more gain), if that tells you anything. Not sure about the Blackstone...
