Details

This is a preliminary listing to get stuff started.
I'll edit for details later, thanks.

Selling 4 strings I love but no longer use that should be getting stage time.
Pretty much for sale only; you can pm me trade offers if you like; though I'll probably not be interested; and; 5 strings only.

Dark Star'd Precision SOLD
I got the body (from Butch at Bayou Cables) with the Dark Star already in it, I was told it was a 1974 alder body, with an old Pat Wilkins re-fin on it; shoreline gold. I can't remember if the date stamp is still viusible, but the refin is clearly old though in nice condition. Neck is a 1977 I got off ebay. I don't remember fret wear, and the adjuster is out all the way to the end: lots of adjustment. Non original nut. Tuners came with it, I think they're original to the neck. I think it's a 1 3/4 C neck, but I'll report back.
Plays great, sounds great: can go from clean, bright aggressive single coil, to meaty fat and dark easily with tone control and right hand placement/attack. I forget if I have a bag or case or what for it.

Fender Precision A/E Hot Rod $850 shipped:
Fender Precision A/E body I got from the BABP forum long ago. Body was already stripped of the "acoustic bridge" and piezo and moving in this direction, tho the holes for the new 51 P Bass bridge were in the wrong place for 34" string length. They were dowel filled, and the bridge placed properly. G&L MFD P pup, Telecaster pick guard, bridge, bridge cover and control plate added. Might Mite neck, 1 1/2" nut. Body and headstock done in Reranch "sonic blue" nitro which has faded to nearly white. Neck is oil finished and played in nicely with dark spots showing from hand oils and "dirt.".
Super light, fun to play, big, meaty, aggressive G&L sounding P bass with no real hollowbody attributes to the sound.
