Hey friends. I've decided to move my Fender P-Bass. This is a parts bass, with the alder body being US (I was told it's finished nitro, but I'm not a paint guy), the neck I believe is MIM, the pickup is a Nordstrand Bigman installed at the Nordstrand shop. A new pickguard was purchased and cut for this pickup. It's a full pro install. The controls are stacked volume, volume - one for the front coil, one for the rear coil; and a tone pot which is push/pull for series/parallel.
I had a full setup done, which included full fret dressing and leveling. The neck is in excellent condition and plays wonderfully.
This is a P-Bass with some SERIOUS guts. I kid you not...this bass sounds absolutely huge. The Bigman was a great decision. Those who dig the P tone will not be disappointed.
The bass is lightweight at 8 pounds, and will ship in a generic gig bag. I will include the original pickup and pots, and the original pickguard.
I'm looking for $375, plus shipping - this is a stupid deal for this bass, I just need it to move!
