For sale or trade is my Cort Elrick RB5. This bass is not pristine but it plays awesome. I acquired it used through Guitar Center and it was rated at three stars which I would have given it two.
This bass has seen some solid use. There are numerous small dents and dings, but none affect the playability in any way. Around the pickups there is finish wear from the prior owner's fingers. There are also extra holes for the strap buttons. I have installed Schaller strap locks and they work perfect. Last disclosure is that the tuners could use new bushings as they are a bit stripped and a couple buzz when playing it unplugged. Just wanted to get that all out first for matters of disclosure.
Now on to the bass. These things don't come up too often so this would be a good opportunity for someone to get an amazing sounding awesome looking rare bass on the cheap. As for tone, this bass has it in spades. The preamp is strong and the Barts capture a ton. The low B is incredibly defined. As stated before the tuners could stand to be replaced. They are Hipshot Ultralights, so replacements wouldn't be hard to come by. The bass is also equipped with a zero fret.
I am looking to sale this bass or trade it outright for a Darkglass B7k. I may be interested in other trades so feel free to run anything by me. Worst I can say is no.
