What size hard drive, and has it been dropped? Is the RAM stock or upgraded?

HDD Size is 500GB. Never dropped. This thing was my baby till the weird stripe happened. Been using it as my backup since with zero issues. RAM is 4GB stock. I might have an 8GB kit I'll look around.
