Oh my oh my I wish I wish... Just the perfect spec and color... My dream MTD!
Thanks YC. The wood combo is very versatile and the top and stain are gorgeous. It's what I picked too :) I actually tried another MTD alder/rosewood which did not speak to me. This one was/is much punchier and alive.

Folks, I've been approached about trades. Some very good ones. I appreciate the tempting offers, but I'm selling this bass to raise money for an upright I've got my eye on. So, I kindly ask for, purchase only, requests. Thank you.

Beautiful bass. I've never seen dots done like that before but I dig it -- It looks really cool.

I have no way of accurately measuring the weight unless i go UPS. It's not heavy at all. Very good weight. Just ash body, maple top and neck, Rosewood board. If you're very serious about the weight I can make a trip.

All i need is $3600 and this bass will be in my hands!
It is a killer bass at a great price. Several friends say that I will regret it but I have to think in practical terms for my equipment, i.e. what I need versus what I'd like to have as a luxury item. It's here, price is solid, I've turned down people offering $3,400. Come and get it.

I wish that I had the money, because that bass is well worth the $3,600 asking price, and I already know how fantastic those MTD basses are!

Man alive; I wish that I had the money for that bass!!!!!
It's really perfect or flawless in so many ways. No truss rod issues, no fret issues, clean tone. You can't fault the bass for anything. It's high quality craftsmanship. A lot of small, custom bass makers charge boutique prices because they are custom. They, however, don't always deliver on the quality. Just because it's custom doesn't mean you're getting a quality bass in construction and tone. MTD is the real thing. You get what you pay for and at this price, you're getting more than what you'd normally pay for. I think I'm talking myself out of selling this bass! hhmmmm
