You know the bass. Might very well be the best Jazz Fender ever made.
Mahogany body with thick Koa top. And there is some nice grain in this top. Not like some that are kind of bland. This one is nice. When I bought it the previous owner had wired the bass passive. I reinstalled the preamp. Strung with new Black Beauties. Shipped in fender case ( not the one pictured ).

Not very good at taking photos but the grain is really nice on this bass.

The Fender case these originally came in? The brown case with dark brown interior?

Don't have the original case. It is a brown Fender case with orange interior I believe made in the 90's.

Overall condition is excellent. I couldn't find any scratches on the bass.

I'm sorry I don't have an digital scale to weigh the bass. I could my bathroom scale but that wouldn't tell you much.

Again, if you are serious about the purchase and weight is the only show stopper, I will get it weighed for you. Please let me know. John
