Sold for $1700!
I'm reluctantly selling my FU 5. It's a great bass and plays amazingly. One of the lowest action basses I've owned. I adjusted the truss rod when I got it almost 8 years ago and haven't had to touch it since.
It has been gigged quite a bit but never abused. It has the typical swirling in the paint. Also has a few small nicks. I tried to take pics in the light to get it all to show up so there are no surprises. Overall it's in really great shape. The neck is immaculate. I just found 1 tiny scratch near the 3rd fret by the B string when going over it in detail. I can't get it to show up in pics and I've never felt it b/c it's so small and in a place where your thumb typically doesn't go.
I'm asking $1900 and would like to get close to my asking price or I'd prefer to keep it.

I have the original hard case as well. It's in good shape with a little bit of rust on the latches. I use gig bags so it's been in the garage. I cleaned it up. The Pics included.
You can see a slight moon shape indention above the volume knob. It's from my gtr player's slide flying across stage and hitting my bass! I wasn't happy.
Also, a small chip on the MM pickup cover. Doesn't affect functionality or ability to adjust pickup height. Cosmetic only.
