Ok folks! I'm looking to sell this incredible bass to make room in the stable for an incoming purchase. Hint: it rhymes with smensmaigement sming.
Here are specs:
34" Scale
Single Cut, Set Neck Through (Chris built the bass with set neck construction techniques, but instead of stopping the neck midway, he made it go all the way through to the bottom, so it's punchier than a standard neck through, but has more sustain than a standard set neck)
19mm string spacing Hipshot bridge
Maple/Zebrawood Neck with 24 fret Macassar Ebony Fretboard
African Mahogany body with Quilted (and some Spalted) Red Maple Top
Aero Dual Coils and Mike Pope 4 band pre
Controls are Volume/Tone Stack, Blend, Bass, Lo Mid (switchable between ~370Hz and ~550Hz), Hi Mid(switchable between ~1000Hz and ~1300Hz), Treble. The other switches are for Single Coil/Humbucking (Series), and Active/Passive/Mute.
There are a good bit of controls, but it's super quick to get to the tone you're looking for. Definitely not a fiddly bass. Everywhere I've ever played it, people have gushed about the tone.
Looking to get $1900 for it. No trades please, as I'm working on getting married, and there's a little round thing that greatly propels that endeavor.
Weight is 10 pounds even.
