I've always been a nut for experimenting with different pickups and tend to keep a few options around, but I'm trying to go more lean these days. These are all great pickups, and I have their twins in a few basses already! Not looking for trades please.
SOLD!!!!- Fralin single-coil Jazz set- this is the stock wind, pulled from my Lakland Joe Osborne. Great pickups, but I settled on a split-coil set instead. Great working condition with plenty of lead wire, but a few string scratches in the covers. Looking for $125 shipped OBOSoLD!!!!
- Fralin P split-coil set- this is the stock vintage wind, pulled from my Lakland Bob Glaub. I LOVE this pickup especially with flats, but already have one in another P-bass, so went for a different flavor for the Lakland. Great working condition with plenty of lead wire, a few minor string scratches in the cover. Looking for $100 shipped OBO.
SOLD!!!!!- Nordstrand NP4 P pickup- this is the stock alnico 5 version (the original version). Great pickup and I've owned one a few times, but ultimately chose another for the bass I was switching 'em in. Excellent condition with no scratches and plenty of lead wire. - SOLD!!!!!!G&L MFD P pickup (as found on the SB-2)- I've been a freak for these pickups since first playing an old SB-1. At one point I had 3 of these at once and after comparing them in the same bass this was the winner! These days I find myself preferring more standard lower-output vintage P tone though I may well pick up more of these in the future. In great functional condition, but with some noticeable scratching on the covers and some spliced wires (I think these have been used on quite a few basses over the years!).
