This is a sweet bass that got into a brawl with the men in brown... and lost. The headstock sustained a break that looked pretty nasty. However, from a recommendation from a Spector club member (thanks Trace), I sent it to the 12th Fret in Portland, OR. They did a great repair job! I had planned on getting the bass refinished, but things changed. Here are some specs:
3 piece maple neck thru with maple body wings
Rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot inlays
Solid locking brass bridge
EMG P-J pickups with EMG BTS preamp
Gold Schaller tuners, black strap buttons (I have a set of black Dunlop buttons if you want them)
Recently strung with Daddario Nickel XLs
New Duracell 9v
Finish looks to be Plum, but I could be wrong
Weight is 9lb, 4.8oz per my shipping scale
Bass will be shipped in a new hardshell case. Frets are in good shape with minor wear and no buzz to speak of. This would be a great bass for a gigging musician that's not concerned with cosmetics. Honestly, it only looks bad from the backside, but I'll let the pictures do the talking. $400.00 plus shipping. PayPal accepted, all trades considered.
