Award-winning UL cabinets were the first and are the most highly evolved line of performance bass cabinets on available today. They redefine lightweight design by combining power, precision and transparency to the highest standard.
The Technology
UL cabinets start with lightweight, yet strong Lite Ply Poplar plywood. Each cabinet is reinforced using our proprietary UL internal bracing system. We then add the latest generation Epifani-designed neodymium drivers, which deliver more low-end, more power handling and faster response than any other driver in their class. From the polypropylene capacitors and 18 gauge inductors in the crossovers, to the specific tuning of each component, UL cabinets mix high-science and high-art to create a benchmark in bass cabinetry that are an essential component for the most acclaimed bassists of our time.
The Sound
The UL2 112 was designed to give you a large, full-bodied yet accurate sound in a lightweight and highly portable package. What we achieved exceeded even our own goals. The UL2 112 delivers a full sound at club listening levels yet still showcases the player's character and nuance without any added coloration. Used by professional musicians such as the incredible Matthew Garrison, the amazing Lincoln Goines, and jazz legend Christian McBride, this cabinet also inspired the great Anthony Jackson to co-design a custom version of the UL-112 for his personal use. Simply amazing clarity and tone from top to bottom.
This was sold months ago to a TB brother. He sent a money order that 'no-showed'. Then I fell back in love with the cabinet. Months later a replacement check shows up from USPS.
