I bought this here last week based on my love for Shellac, The Jesus Lizard, and the Steve Albini bass tone.
My only hesitation was reading a couple reviews that commented on its similarity to the GK tone. And sure enough when I got it, and plugged into my 700RB-II it sounded great, but it sounded like what I already have--albeit with a lot more gain on tap.
I got a great deal, and I'm passing that great price on for a lucky buyer HERE -- if I don't sell it here first, I'll ask a higher price on eBay.
'Cuz this pedal is essentially new -- I can't find a mark, scratch, or speck of dirt on it. And I'm pretty sure that I was the first person to unravel the cord on the power supply.
So, Rusty needs to go to a good home where he will be loved and stomped on REGULARLY. And this is a seriously sturdy and well-built pedal that will stand up to YEARS of heavy use.
