Beautiful Ibanez RKB-900 Bass
For those of you who don't know, the RKB-900 was part of Ibanez's more expensive "Prestige Series", built in their Japan factory in the early 2000s. It was Ibanez's attempt at reaching out to the Fender crowd, since this bass has a more vintage vibe and is completely passive. In my opinion, they did a hell of a job.
The neck is 1 5/8" and is a dream to play, fits like a glove. The sunburst finish is absolutely gorgeous.
It sports the stock Seymour Duncan Bass Lines pups which sound huge! Great tone variations abound from these guys and the control layout is Volume/Balance/Tone which gives more variation than the usual v/v/t setup. A Badass bridge is standard on these as well.
The bass balances perfectly with no dive and I would estimate the weight at 8 lbs, it's one of the lightest basses I've ever owned.
Condition is very good, with two small dings on the body, one on the headstock and light scratching on pick guard. I've tried to show all these in the pics. Bass is from non smoking home.
