Details

Hey Fellow TB'ers, I am listing my Sadowsky MV5 for sale/trade. Found something I like so now looking for sale as well. It is in excellent shape and has been professionally set up since I bought it 4 months ago. The only imperfections I can see are some tiny buckle rash spots that are each about the size of the tip of a pen. Plays absolutely perfectly with lowest action possible and no fret buzz.

Here are the specs:
- Small ash body (as compared to NYC Sadowsky's)
- ~8.5lbs
- Maple neck and fingerboard
- 21 frets
- Sadowsky hum cancelling pickups
- Vintage Tone Controll (VTC)
- Active/passive pull knob
- Stacked bass/treble boost
- 34" scale
- 19mm spacing at bridge
- Comes with OHSC in really good shape

For trades I'd be mainly looking for a Ken Smith, Warrior, Rbass, Skjold, Dingwall, or FBass. Ideally, 34" scale or less, and less than 19mm string spacing. Strong emphasis on a trade for Ken Smith plus cash, if needed. Again, can put some cash on top of trade or add another bass/gear. Don't hesitate to send me an offer. Let me know if you'd like me to take more pictures or need more information. Please send all offers via PM.

Only because I've received SO MANY trade offers, I will attempt to save some time by saying that I'm not interested in any EMBB basses, Ric's, or Fender's with active electronics.

Hey Fellow TB'ers, I am listing my Sadowsky MV5 for sale/trade. I'd really rather trade for something else. It is in excellent shape and has been professionally set up since I bought it 4 months ago. Plays absolutely perfectly with lowest action possible and no fret buzz.
Edit: I just found some very minor belt buckle rash (10 tiny dots about the size of a pen tip). They can only be seen when looked at from the side in good lighting. I took a detailed picture.

Here are the specs:
- Small ash body (as compared to NYC Sadowsky's)
- ~8.5lbs
- Maple neck and fingerboard
- 21 frets
- Sadowsky hum cancelling pickups
- Vintage Tone Controll (VTC)
- Active/passive pull knob
- Stacked bass/treble boost
- 34" scale
- 19mm spacing at bridge
- Comes with OHSC in really good shape

For trades I'd be mainly looking for jazz style basses such as Ken Smith, Mike Lull (M4V, M5V, etc.), FBass, etc. Ideally, 34" scale, 4 or 5 strings, and less than 19mm string spacing. Can put some cash on top of trade (not a lot unfortunately). I also have some other music gear: audio interface, really nice pair of studio monitor headphones, and some pedals that I can add to the trade. I'll update the list as things come to mind. Don't hesitate to send me an offer; I'm very open minded in terms of trades. Let me know if you'd like me to take more pictures or need more information. Please send all offers via PM.

This isn't my actual bass but mine looks exactly the same; for some reason my thumbnails aren't working. Please click on my picture links to see pictures of my bass.

Would you trade for a USA Tobias Killer Bee 6 string and some cash?

Looks great, is this active /passive knob like the Mike Lull basses? One can be cheap like me and practice in passive mode, gig in active mode. Thanks for your time. She's a beauty.

King lowdown: Thanks for the offer but I'm not a fan of Tobias basses, that's actually the 3rd Tobias I've been offered.

Bipslapper: I've never played a Lull so I'm not sure but it does have the standard push/pull active/passive knob. Thanks for your interest.

Just added 2 sound clips: 1 slap and one blues. Both were just first takes; I'll upload some better ones over the weekend when I have more time.

Just added another sound clip. Funky slap over Fred Hammond. Since I wasn't able to get a bass-less backing track, I'd suggest using headphones. My bass is in the right speaker
