Had a few drinks in me and bought it on a whim. Plugged it in and loved the tone even more than I thought I would, it sounds really great. However the way a hollowbody sits against my body is just not for me, I keep buying 'em because I love how they look and sound, but I never learn my lesson.
Excellent condition. No serious scratches or dings or scuffs, about the same condition you would see on a new guitar hanging on the wall at a chain music store (but with a pro setup). Finish topcoat is slightly less shiny in an area immediately around the E-string, former owner obviously played with a pick. Tried to photograph it but its so light it wouldn't show up. Comes in a nice, generic aftermarket hardshell formfitting case made specifically for a "Beatle Bass".
Photos below, in case you want a different angle here is a commercial link with all the stock photos you could possibly desire - Epiphone Viola Electric Bass, Vintage Sunburst
$265 shipped in HSC
Trades I might be interested in, plus/minus cash as appropriate:
explorer bass gig bag
single coil precision body with contours in natural or butterscotch
Fender-style unlined fretless neck with maple board
Markbass Blackline head or similar low-end micro head
a different short-scale bass, more unusual the better, no Fender/Squier nor Ibanez nor EB0 (might consider EB3)
Guitarron Mexicano
If you live local to NH/Maine/Boston and want to meet up in person, there are plenty of other non-musical things I'd be open-minded about trading for since I recently bought a house after years of apartments.
