One set of Nordstrand NJ4SV J pickups for sale. $150 shipped CONUS
Pickups are in good condition. Includes all 8 mounting screw. I'm selling only because I'm parting out my Warmoth J to fund a 5 string. These pickups were tone nirvana for that bass and were never going to get changed forevermore.
The sound is big , growly and nicely bright in single coil fashion, but with no hum. These are split coil humbuckers, yet as close to the tone of NJ4 pickups as the fine folks at Nordstrand can make them. Wonderful pickups!
Two issues only noticeable on close inspection. A tiny bit of spotting has started on the polepieces. The Neck pickup shell has a few small/hairline cracks around the very top and very bottom polepiece, not affecting the integrity of the plastic shell. The former cosmetic issue is fixable by cleaning the polepieces. The latter is solved by purchasing a new neck J shell from Best Bass Gear or such. I do love the rounded corners on the Nordstrand J shells.
